Hi there!

You may have noticed a few things amiss on this site. It’s undergoing a bit of a facelift, my apologies. I hope to have it presentable by the end of 2020*, but in the meantime, check out this old blog post. Still oh-so-relevant today.

This site serves an occasionally updated account of my work and thoughts. I live in San Francisco (at the base of a big brown hill), get paid to make things at Heath Ceramics (creative direction for our website), really like my dog (and sometimes others), and think in asides (parentheses everywhere!). Someone once told me that I was the quietest chatterbox she had ever met, and I am inclined to think it’s true.

* the sentence “I hope to have it presentable by…” has been on my blog for 5+ years. But here’s to maybe, hopefully, actually getting to presentable one day.

Things I love:

• repurposing items and giving things new life

• puttering in the kitchen with 10+ projects at once

• exploring by foot, whether in the backcountry or in urban cities

• solving messy problems, especially when there is a lot of input to sort through and make sense of
